Library Card


How to get a Library Card:


Granville County tax-payers may apply for a free library card by showing a valid North Carolina Driver's License or photo ID that has a current Granville County address. If your ID does not show your current address, you must ALSO provide proof of local address or proof of property tax payment within Granville County. If you have questions about what constitutes valid proof of residency or tax payment, please call our main branch at (919) 693-1121.

Non-residents may receive a library card for $15.00 per year.

Granville County Public Library Card

Replacement Cards:


If you lose your library card, a replacement card may be purchased for $1.00. Fines and fees existing on lost card accounts are carried over onto the new card.

Teacher Cards:


Teachers at any Granville County school may apply for a teacher card that is valid for each school year (August - June).
